In 2011, former Chicago Cubs’ pitcher Kerry Wood and his wife, Sarah, founded the Wood Family Foundation with the vision of adding value to the lives of Chicago’s children. Each year they invite distinguished guests to a gala supporting the foundation. The theme of the gala is a different children’s storybook each year. In 2022, the book chosen was New York Times best seller “What Do You Do with a Problem?” by Kobi Yamada. Pivot was tasked with the concepting, branding, and event materials based on the story.
